Video :- Thoughts - Rants CrossCabriolet

A feedback from the post on the Crosscab. Some great Porsche ad, and one of my All time favourites..

What happened to our younger days, were Dreams were free? Let's start dreamin like this kid ;)

Video :- Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars

Before we Go off topic on the Porsche Vids - CrossCabriolets post. Here's just a facinating piece of song/music that i just seem to like recently. And it has a title of Chasing cars, wonder why i only like it recently but not back then when it first came out..

If I Lay Here, If I Just Lay Here

Crosscabriolet? Thoughts - Rants

Remember when the X6 came out? My first impressions was okay, it looks good cool! I'm pretty sure most people thought it looked good too. The problem of Practicality versus Design still exists today among peoples perception and i guess you really have to have an open mind about it especially in Malaysia. BMW brought in a whole new term of crossover which even Honda, Suzuki and other car manufacturers had followed on..

Now the thing about it is, What makes any difference from our perception should be towards the Crosscabriolet and Crossover? I see that many judge the book by its cover, especially when they do not take the consideration of what involves in creating such a product or work. Apart from that, there seem to be a shallow mindset btw Malaysian's in terms of art, design , passion and values. By natural instinct, humans or most people around the world would perceive this new term of Crosscabriolet abit radical in terms of styling, and it itself has been judged by looks alone..

Personally, I really have this confident feeling that it's just the beginning for CrossCabriolets to gain popularity in the market even as much as how the public despises it. Most of the time, the crowd seems to be wrong in the end.. Not to mention,i'm am pretty sure there has been Crosscabriolets in the past, but seem to have been forgotten.. or never known. I believe that, even this might be radical, why should being practical always limit us, confine us or just lock us in a box? Watch the Porsche Adverts and you'll understand why. I guess that are one of the reasons why Malaysian's arent ready for the challenge to step up today because of this mentality, limiting their dreams.

There is a new generation coming up, and i believe i am part of it.. So my conclusion? I know the car's weird/ugly/weird but hey, there is potential and don't be too stuck up on being practical all the time if not, Supercars wouldn't have existed in the first place, and you can't afford one.. so.. you've got the money? the ideas? the passion? then let's do it..

Will be updating a video on the point i was trying to get across on how we're being confined to our dreams.. - Porsche ads says it all

Brief History, Since 2001

It's been a long journey since the year 2001. Within those years, a lot of things sure did happen including Evolutions. From people, friends, schools, cities and family that seemed to happen to pass by within the 3 cities, it sure did broadened up my perspective and my skills. Anyways back to the topic, I do not really know where to start this, but it seemed that my skills were something inherited from my parents which explains the creativity juices flowing in the family.

Long before cars were my major interest, my curiousity brought me to funny places such as the toilet (toilet bowls, i was curious for every type of flush), Ceiling fans, Lights (or lamps), and streetlights. This simply meant, my weird interest was drawing such things... Even as streetlights shapes were something i could remember, Cars were soon to become my major interest and i've stucked with it ever since..

Factors that really got me into drawing cars..
- The release of The Fast and the Furious - 1
- Studying at Sk La Salle PJ - Std 1-2 , thank you forgotten Art teacher for giving a theme of drawing a Malaysian Made car (which I drew a green Wira Aeroback of the neighbours)
- Related to the other fact above, one of my ex classmates or first good friends from school which was Dion Lee. (known as one of the most attention grabbing, does everything almost perfect person) Which he drew one of the teachers Perdana, which made me wanted to do it as good..
- Introduction to Concept cars from the newspaper..
- KLIMS 2003 (Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show) still remember it was that interesting!
- The release of The Fast and the Furious 2
- Studying at Sk Seri Indah (Oug) - Std 3-4 , thanks to my Buku Conteng (scrap Book) and supportive friends of interest in my car drawings..

Well basically thats how it got started.. and thanks to God, and the people he's putting in to my life, I'm reaching my destiny x) . At the moment Enjoy the gallery of the evolution of my Artworks. A simple from yesterday to today appearance. Well just to note somethings, if I had a pie chart (if i would) , i would be announcing the growth chart in skills. But in a nutshell, 2006, 2007 and 2008 years were breakthrough years in development as you observe..

2003/ 2004

2005 /2006

Hey there

Hey there,
I guess you're wondering what blog is this and find it rather strange for this blog to be empty. It's rather new and soon to be updated with stuffs. I do admit that my previous blogs are dead, but hopefully this one would be kept alive with the artworks that i'll update on and off.

Purpose of creating this blog ;-
- To post my artworks permanently
- As an online gallery to showcase my artworks where, it can archieved
- To just express my random thoughts, life and things i think about Cars, design, etc..
- To find exposure over my artwork, people, oppurtunities, and dreams into becoming.

Well [:C+:D] just basically means C - Car and D- Design , where i have a huge interest in both Cars and Art. Mesh them up, and you'll get Car design. I have to express that without the movie Fast and the Furious, having my art teacher to ask us to draw a Malaysian Car, My friend Dion as an inspiration, Friends in school that allowed me to express and have some fun in drawing dream cars, i wouldnt think i would have cultivated this culture in me within the 9 years of drawing. I also do thank God for giving me this awesome gift especially unique, different, one of a kind rare in Malaysia like a Gem, interest among the rest long before, and to where I am, I couldn't have been without him. Hope you enjoy the Blog then!
